Learning to love being frugal and living a simpler life
Looks very similar to mine. Did you get any ointment to put on it? Mine was about the same size as yours and quite deep. I was given 'Stratamed' ointment to put on twice a day and believe me it is a miracle cream. I have absolutely no scar. If you can get it over there I highly recommend it. I am 5 months post-op and it is still a little tender if I rub it the wrong way, but it looks great! When do you have to go back to the doctor?
Hi Janice..no i wasn't given any cream..i get results in about 2 weeks and then if its all clear no more treatment but if not then i will have to see my GP..Your cream sounds wonderful and i am so glad that you have no scar..ftm

I had a larger blemish removed from my nose several years ago and had to have it skin grafted.. yikes... Silicone gel really helped with the healing, although I do have a scar. It can be quite expensive stuff but sometimes you can get a good deal on ebay I found. It works by sealing the surface, providing a perfect environment for healing to occur naturally. Usually any benefit occurs within 2-3 months and then you can stop it. My plastic surgeon recommended it, so maybe try to see if you could get it on prescription if you want to chance your arm :) All the best, Eilidh x
